The sequel to Transformers, Revenge of the Fallen, contains many surprises. In the movie Megatron comes back, there are new robots, and Sam learns a shocking secret about himself. As the autobots fight the decepticons, the Transformers face a bigger threat, the Fallen(pictured right) who can defeat even Megatron. Will the autobots defeat the Fallen or will earth be destroyed? About the book series
The Lightning Thief Series, by Rick Riordan, is about a boy, Percy (short for Perseus) Jackson, who learns that his real father is Poseidon, the Greek god of the sea.

In book 1, The Lightning Thief, Percy is in 6th grade when he gets attacked by a mythological creature of the Underworld called a Fury. He also gets attacked by a Minotaur a half-man, half-bull creature. After that he came to a place called Camp Half-Blood where finds out his best friend, Grover, is a satyr, a half-human, half-goat creature, that the camp is for people like him, half-human, half god. He is also offered a quest, one that will decide the fate of the world.

In book 2, The Sea of Monsters, Percy returns to Camp Half-Blood is n danger because someone poisoned the camps magical borders which keeps all he mythological monsters outside of camp. He also finds out that Grover has been captured by a cyclops. Percy must save his friend and Camp Half-Blood or else they are all doomed.

In book 3, The Titan's Curse, Percy receives an urgent distress call from Grover saying that he found 2 half-bloods and needs to get hem safely to camp. But, a Greek goddess, Artemis, has bee captured by a mysterious evil. To rescue the goddess Percy tarts a perilous quest.

In book 4, The Battle of the Labyrinth, Percy discovers a maze that cold help their enemies get into Cap Half-Blood. So Percy goes into the labyrinth, on a quest to find it's creator so they can destroy it, a quest that nobody has come back from alive.

Book 5, The Last Olympian, is now available where ever books are sold.

My Opinion
In my opinion The Lighting Thief series is a great book. I liked it not only because it was funny, but because I love Greek mythology.

My career report

When I grow up I want to be an athlete.
When you're an athlete you have to stay at the top of your game. You have to train hard everyday to stay in shape. To prepare you have to study P.E., nutrition, biology, anatomy, and sports education. To stay in shape you have to go to the gym and/or practice 2-4 hours a day. There is something every job has and that is a job outlook. A job outlook is the hiring intentions of employers which means the chances of you being hired. The job outlook of an athlete is 18%-26%. To improve your outlook of becoming an athlete you have to go to college for 2 or more years before you are drafted by a sports team. As a pro athlete you earn on an average of $25,001 to $30,000 a day.To be a good athlete you have to be a good team player / a "good sport". All of this info applies for football, basketball, ice hockey, etc. If work hard and train right you may become the athlete you always wanted to be or admired.

Zoids Chaotic Century

Zoids Chaotic Century is a cartoon about robotic animals that can be piloted in the inside by a person. Zoids are mainly used in battles because they have incredible powers and weapons.

The show starts off with a 17 year-old boy named Van Flyheight (pictured above) being chased by bandits in zoids. Van hides in some ruins where he discovers an organoid(a type zoid that increases the potential of a zoid it fuses with, heals the zoid's wounds, brings "dead" zoids back "alive";pictured left) named Zeke. A bandit in a zoid attacks Van and Zeke so they fly to safety. Two bandits in Command Wolves (a type of zoid; pictured above left) start firing at them. Then Zeke fuses with a Shield Liger (another type of zoid; one of the most powerful zoids; named after it's strong shield; pictured right) and Van destroys the Command Wolves. Van and Zeke head back to the ruins where they find a 17 year-old girl named Fiona. Van, Zeke, and Fiona ( pictured below the Shield Liger) begin a journey to find out about Fiona's past, because she doesn't remember anything except her name, and to find something called Zoid Eve.


Then they meet a boy named Irvine( pictured left) who has a Command Wolf. He and a girl named Moonbay( pictured under Irvine). Moonbay has another type of zoid called a Gustav ( pictured right).










Then one they meet a 17 year-old boy name Raven who, like Van, has an organoid named Shadow(pictured left with Raven). Raven has a zoid called a Saber Fang(pictured below) Raven becomes one of their worst enemies especially Van's because he destroyed Raven Saber Fang. Raven then gets a new type of zoid called the Genosaurer(pictured below left), which is the fist of its kind.



The Genosaurer destroys Van's Shield Liger. But thanks to Zeke,who tried to resurrect the Shield Liger but instead creates a new type of zoid, Van gets a zoid called the Blade Liger( pictured under the Saber Fang).Then when he meets Raven again he destroys the Geno Saurer. But now he has a bigger problem. An old evil zoid called the Death Saurer (pictured below) has returned to destroy all life but Van and the others defeat the Death Saurer.

Then they meet Hiltz and his organoid Ambien( pictured below the Blade Liger). After defeating him they meet Rease and her organoid Specula (pictured left). Then they meet Thomas who has a Debison. He becomes friends with Van and the others and develops a crush on Fiona. Then one day Raven shows up in his new Genosaurer(pictured below). But after losing to Van again Shadow evolves it into a Geno Breaker ( pictured below Rease). He was going to destroy Van with but Hiltz created a zoid called the Death Stinger (pictured below Hiltz) that almost destroyed the Geno breaker so he teamed up with Van to defeat him. But Hiltz used the Death stinger zoid core (it is the "heart" of a zoid) to resurrect the Death Saurer. But again Van defeated the Death Saurer by destroying its zoid core. After that there were no more enemies for Van. He and the others become friends with Raven and Rease who helped defeat the Death Saurer.

Eli Manning of the NY Giants

Elisha Nelson Manning was born January 3, 1981 in New Orleans, Louisiana to a football family. He was the youngest of three boys. His brothers were were Cooper Manning(oldest of the three played wide recivier), Peyton Williams Manning(second oldest;bullied Eli;future quarterback of the Indianapolis Colts). Eli's very father, Archie Manning, was a quarterback for the New Orleans Saints. Eli's mother was Olivia Manning who was a cheerleader for hers' and Archie's high school football team. Eli enjoyed watching Cooper and Peyton play football. When Eli went to college, he joined their football team,the Ole Miss Rebels. After playing for the Rebels for three years straight, Eli was drafted into the NFL(National Football League) by the San Diego Chargers. But Eli didn't want to play for them because his father played for a terrible team and didn't want to meet that fate. Eli was relieved when he found out he was going to play for the New York Giants because he was traded to the Giants for four draft picks from the giants.



Giants vs. Colts

On September 10,2006, the Giants with Eli manning Faced the Indianapolis Colts- along with their quarterback Peyton Manning. The game was called the "Manning Bowl" because it was Eli vs. Peyton. The Colts jumped to an early lead but the Giants came back strong with a touchdown pass to wide Recivier Jeremy Shockey. In the fourth quarter the Giants were winning 25-24. but with 16 seconds left in the game the Colts came back with two points winning the game 26-25. The Giants were done for the season but they had a chance next year to get into the Super Bowl.


Super Bowl XLII/42


The Giants came to Super Bowl XLII to face the New England Patriots, who hadn't lost a single game this season. The Giants scored the first touchdown by Eli throwing a pass to wide receiver David Tyree who caught the ball by using his helmet(pictured left). The Patriots struck back with a touchdown of their own.In the fourth quarter the Giants were trailing behind 14-10. But Eli threw a pass to tight end Plaxico Burris, who ran for and made a touchdown. With 29 seconds left in the game the Giants had more points than the Patriots. Patriot's quarterback Tom Brady (pictured below as number 12) threw a pass to wide receiver Randy Moss (pictured below as number 81), but the pass was intercepted by Burris. Diary of a Wimpy Kid

About the Book Series
Diary of a Wimpy Kid by Jeff Kinney is a novel made of comics. It is about a boy named Greg Heffley who writes about his life, family,and school in a diary.

In the first book Greg is in the sixth grade. He starts out like this "Just don't expect me to be dear diary this and dear diary that".

In the second book, Rodrick Rules, Greg is in seventh grade and has a new diary. Something embarrassing happened to him that he is trying hard to forget. The problem is his brother, Rodrick, knows about it and is holding it over his head. But then Greg makes a move that makes Rodrick spill his secret.

If you want to be like Greg and write your own story and make your own comics you can if you buy Diary of a Wimpy Kid Do It Yourself Book. You can even play mini-games take fun pop-quizzes.

My Opinion
In my opinion Diary of a Wimpy Kid is very funny. When I read the first book I couldn't wait to read the second book. I also like this book series because these books make me feel relaxed. I don't know if you'll like it but to me it is a great book series.

Also book 3, Diary of a Wimpy Kid The Last Straw, is coming out to stores on January 13Th,2009.

The Invincible Iron Man
